One more thing before I sign off for the year,

If you are truly worried about over eating, piling on some festive poundage and undoing all your hard work use these sure-fire justifications to yourself.

Turkey is a lean meat…so the rest of the meal doesn’t count

Sprouts are full of vitamins…which is why they taste horrid

Christmas pudding and mince pies are full of fruit…I can count them as one of my 5-a-day

More body fat keeps you warm…saving money on heating

Running in icy conditions is dangerous…best to stay on the sofa

Eating that selection box means I’ll save the kids from a chocolate overdose.

Now stop checking your emails and enjoy some family time.
